Tracey Alfaro invited SGBMA members to join the Frederick Hot Glass Society on Saturday, April 14 on their return to McFadden Art Glass in Baltimore. The larger the group, the less expensive. They’re hoping to get a group of 10 or more. Tracey will send announcement and contact info via email.
Jeanne Booth announced that the new Virginia chapter, the Firebirds, will be having their second meeting on January 28th at 11am, Lorton, VA. Several members mentioned that they will be joining both chapters.
Lisa Mosser reported that the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA recently opened a new glass studio in a converted bank building. They have a hot shop, classrooms for flameworking, and equipment for cold working. Click HERE to check it out!
