Hand-On Demo - Anodizing Demo by Pat Baker
Niobium & titanium are naturally occurring elements and are hypo-allergenic. They are grey color in their natural states, but can be anodized in a wide array of colors. When anodized, no color is actually added. An electrical current passed through it produces an oxide layer that reflects light and lets you see color. Pat Baker gave us a live demonstration and talk about anodizing niobium & titanium.

Gathering Postcard Project Many thanks go to Sally Stevens for the photography, Dylan Steele for the graphics and Shannon for design and coordination. These heroic volunteers donated many hours of their time to this project and we really appreciate it. Thanks also to the 18 members whose beads are representing the chapter this year.
