And the 2009 Survey Says. . . .
Thanks to all 27 of you who completed the survey sent in November. Your answers, comments and suggestions will really help us do some planning for the next year. Just to give you a flavor of the results - 92.5% want to participate in activities in the months between meetings, 81.5% are interested in doing bulk buys, the person that was named the most to take a class from is Michael Barley, and the non-glass workshop most of you want to take is Macro-photography. We hear you and will be trying to implement as many of your suggestions as we can. The full results of the survey will be put on the website when I have had a chance to collate everything.
I wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday season. See you next year.
Lesliediana, Secretary

The First Meeting of 2009
The first meeting of 2009 will be held on January 10, 2009. We are pleased to announce that Rick Sherbert, Director of the Glass Program at the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton, VA. , has graciously agreed to be our host. You will have a chance to view not only the Glasshouse but all of the other art buildings. If you haven't been there yet, you are in for a treat. The Chapter will be serving lunch. Therefore, please send an RSVP by January 2, 2009 to Lesliediana (midatlanticsgb@gmail.com) if you plan on attending. We want to make sure we have enough goodies for everyone. For directions on how to get there, see the Workhouse Arts Center website - http://www.workhousearts.org/directions.php. Hope to see you there.
